The initial period in a new country for the assignee and the family is a crucial ‘make or break’ period and unless the family receives the assistance of a professional relocation consultant, the entire assignment can be in jeopardy. Today more than ever the success of relocation is seen from a holistic point of view and the wellbeing of the entire family is a critical component in the way the assignee integrates into his new environment.
The assignees spouse often has to interrupt a career and this can be accompanied by frustration and possibly anger. Whereas we cannot provide work opportunities, we are able to provide advice and assistance in finding frameworks for volunteering within the community and other organizations as well as to introduce them to International networks etc. In addition we can also provide information on study courses at both Universities and Academic Colleges.
